Amy Tomsa, Colorguard Director
Amy Tomsa, born and raised in Georgia, has been involved in the pageantry arts since childhood. With over 20 years of experience as a performer, instructor, and designer, she has performed with Sprayberry HS, Kennesaw Mountain HS, Phantom Regiment Winter Guard, Juxtaposition Winter Guard, and the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps—winning a DCI World Championship in 2008.
After high school, Amy began sharing her love for color guard with students, working with programs such as Milton HS (GA), Madison Central HS (KY), P.L. Dunbar HS (KY), Kennesaw Mountain HS (GA), Klein Collins HS (TX), Klein Cain HS (TX), and The Colts Drum & Bugle Corps. Teaching and inspiring young performers remains one of her greatest passions.
Amy and her husband, Mat, live in Spring, Texas with their two daughters who bring joy and light to their lives.
Beyond teaching, Amy enjoys creating and designing. She previously ran a successful bridal store, collaborating with top designers. She continues to inspire her students with enthusiasm, creativity, and the belief that anything is possible with the right mindset. Amy is excited about being a part of the team here at Spring HS!
